洛莉·萊納德，美國(guó)康奈爾大學(xué)全球發(fā)展系教授、系主任，世界頂尖涉農(nóng)大學(xué)聯(lián)盟（A5）指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員，1996年獲哈佛大學(xué)健康與社會(huì)行為以及人口與國(guó)際健康博士學(xué)位。她圍繞非洲的貧困與發(fā)展、醫(yī)學(xué)人類(lèi)學(xué)、性別、消費(fèi)與可棄性的環(huán)境社會(huì)影響、舊物與二手物品的全球流通等主題開(kāi)展了大量研究，除發(fā)表大量學(xué)術(shù)文章外，近年編著有《采掘業(yè)的治理：權(quán)力、文化政治與監(jiān)管》（合編，2017）、《石油時(shí)代的生活：乍得輸油管道與貧困》（2016）等作品。她曾任國(guó)際期刊《社區(qū)發(fā)展》副主編（2017-2018），并因在醫(yī)學(xué)人類(lèi)學(xué)以及非洲發(fā)展研究領(lǐng)域的貢獻(xiàn)而被學(xué)界所熟知。
Lori Leonard is Professor and Chair in the Department of Global Development at Cornell University, and member of A5 Steering Committee. She holds Sc.D. in Health & Social Behavior and Population & International Health (1996) from Harvard University. She has a broad research interest in poverty and development in Africa, medical anthropology, gender, social and environmental implications of consumption, disposability, and the global circulation of used and secondhand things. Her recent publications include the co-edited book Governance in the extractive industries: Power, cultural politics, and regulation (2017), and a monograph Life in the time of oil: A pipeline and poverty in Chad (2016), besides series of articles. She used to be associate editor of Community Development (2017-2018), and is well-known for her work in medical anthropology and development studies in Africa.
